Long blonde or emo hairstyles for 13 year olds?

I've been needing a new hairstyle, and I'm Emo, but I don't want something spiked up flying all over. Just something simple than just letting my hair fall down, since, when I let it hang it lways curls at the tip and sticks out. I hate that, second it always knots up in one area and it irritates my forehead. Another thing I ask is that it reminds for a dirty blonde. Parents won't let me dye my hair black for the style I actually found and like. If you have a site that show's how to do, it's appreciated! If just an image of what it looks like, it's still appreciated! (Note: I'm 13, and Emo, and I don't do really short hairstyles, I prefer my ears to be hidden.) Thanks!

I don't have an image, but when I was thirteen I was emo.

An easy fix in the meantime while you're waiting to get your haircut would be to straighten it all out. Use a lot of hairspray and leave in conditioner. If you can try, backcombing or teasing the roots so it gets that puffy look.

Or, you could straighten your hair and bobby pin your bangs out of your face.

If you want to wear it curly, go ahead and find a headband you like, and straighten your bangs.

Go two toned with black underneath if your parents will let you.

Then just tease it and get it majorly layered..
