BACK-COMB (aka tease) your hair and the poof will last, but you have to comb sleek hair over the poof to look professional. Then hairspray (any kind as long as it doesn't contain alcohol).

Best places in la area to get a haircut?

i live in the la area and want some suggestions of good hair salons/stylists that don't charge and arm and a leg to get a basic trim/cut. i've been to really expensive salons before as well as the "cheap" supercuts salons...i wasn't super pleased with either for the prices i paid. is there a nice hair salon in either pasadena, south pas, alhambra, arcadia or san gabriel area that does a good job and charges a fair price? i am female and have a very basic hairstyle...long hair with side-swept bangs. right now, i just want to trim my bangs and cut my hair about 2 inches. if you have any places in mind that won't charge me more than $40 for this, please let me know. thanks!

Best places in la area to get a haircut?

I also live in LA, there are a lot of hair salons that do a great job. I go to fantastic sams to get my trims, they do a good job and arnt expensive. Good luck finding a place that suites you.

*layers are a good idea with thick hair

*also bangs are cute!

What to do with long thick hair?

go to matrix.com or even curl your hair and use lots of hair spray

What to do with long thick hair?

u can do anything yoo like with it

What to do with long thick hair?

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

BRAIDS

-one pony tail

-2 pony tails, zig zag parts for interest

-3 pony tails, big one at top to one side/small one on top %26amp; 2 even on sides/2 even on both sides and 1 big or small in back

4 pony tails-diagonal shapes for interest in any pattern

UPDATE: I personally dont like bobs on lil girls, they tend to look like little boys IMO. please dont cut her hair-let that be her decision when she gets older like my mom did with me and my sis-i chose to cut but my sis didnt :-)

Need hairstyles for 2 year girl with long hair with no bangs?

yep, a bob would be adorable!

Need hairstyles for 2 year girl with long hair with no bangs?

Why don't you just get a little cut two year olds don't need hair styles! If nothing helps just ask the hair dresser to give her a style that makes her look herself!

Need hairstyles for 2 year girl with long hair with no bangs?

French braid, dutch braid (it is the opposite as french..so inside of going over, you go under), two pony tails, two braids, head band, the little aunt jemima's rag. Could but braids or pony tails farm girl style(low). there are plenty more...but I don't know the names of the styles sorry

You can go to the library and get a book on hairstyles for toddlers. It will show you the different styles as well as tell you how to do them. There is also a book called " All About Braids" and it will tell you how to do the different braids. Just ask your librarian. I hope this helps. Braids and pony tails or a little curl is all you need. It makes them look themselves. Ask your daughter what she wants. I have a 2 yr old also who will be 3 next month and she likes head bands and the small clips in her hair. I hope this helps. Good luck and have fun!

All depends if the little girl has natural curl in her hair, if she does not then I would get it cut into a short bob, if she has natural curl then a little pass her shoulders would do.

Hairstyles for a bride and her bridesmaids?

I've looked up hairstyles for weddings but I can't seem to find any sites that have really good ideas. I've searched google and google images but I'm coming up short. I'm just finding plain pony's and buns.

Can someone suggest either a good hairstyle for a bride and her bridesmaids? Hairstyles for the bridesmaids can be different. And the brides needs to kinda look different from the bridesmaids.

Bride - shoulder length - medium back length hair...my hairs shoulder length now but it may grow by the time for my wedding.

MoH(1) - Has long hair about to the end of her spinal cord area. It's extremely straight and thing. Because of religious beliefs she's not allowed to curl or cut her hair so Im having trouble finding hairstyles for her.

MoH(2) and one bridesmaid- Has Mid back length hair

1 bm has short spikey hair but she wants to wear it different to the wedding

and the other bm has chin length hair

Ideas or sites please? Thanks!

Hairstyles for a bride and her bridesmaids?

I was at a beautiful wedding last Christmas. The bride wore her hair down, and allowed all of her attendants to wear their hair like they chose. She just asked for no up-dos since she had her own hair down. The girls' hair was different lengths, but they were stunning. It took me a few minutes to realize that each of them had a style that was flattering to her own face, and not flattering to someone else. It worked.

I really have begun to hate the "cookie cutter" wedding look. It has gotten out of control. If a bride lets the girls have some say in their appearance, they'll be thankful. Trust me!

And best wishes!

Hairstyles for a bride and her bridesmaids?

Bride - I suggest putting it up(http://www.stylesdowntheaisle.com/Galler...

traditionally, it might be really pretty. Another idea is to do it down(extensions might be needed) something like this might be good:http://z.about.com/d/prom/1/7/I/0/-/-/ln...

MoH(1) - This might be really tough. I'm sorry but you might have to tell her that she might have to at least try curling or leave..(Sorry, but that's the plain truth). I only say that because

it's kind of difficult to do bridesmaid hair without some heat styling.

http://www.pimp-my-sims.com/uploads/tx_p...

Something like that. You could try to put a little curl product in her hair to get it curly(unless you ment strictly no curls at all). Or french braids.

MoH(2) Same as the one above.

1 bm: If it's short short then you won't be able to do much.

and the other bm has chin length hair.

For both of them (If its this length) then this might work:http://images.villagevoice.com/siren/200...

Hairstyles for a bride and her bridesmaids?

Just click on the link the first person that answered gave you... I'm getting married in May and have been looking for a hairstyle with no luck (because I'm also wearing my hair down) and I actually found several to work with! I hadn't found anything anywhere until then!

Hairstyles for a bride and her bridesmaids?

Well you definately have a situation on your hands.

BRIDE - http://www.totalhair.net/mischa-barton-p... - i think long tousled curls would look BEAUTIFUL as it is what im doing for my wedding day!

http://www.totalhair.net/mischa-barton-p... - that would look very sweet

http://www.weddingservices4u.co.uk/Image... - the hair in the coloured picture.

http://us.movies1.yimg.com/movies.yahoo....

MOH .1 - (straight thin and long with no curling) - i would be furious if my friend was being like that, but there is really nothing you can do?

http://imagecache2.allposters.com/images... - not dead straight, but it isnt curly!

http://www.e-wig.info/images/extensions/...

http://www.edressme.com/eveningdresses58... - that might take for thicker hair but its worth a try?

2 + 3 (average mid back hair) - unless it is thin again, http://www.edressme.com/eveningdresses58... i think her hair would look nice.

http://images.snapfish.com/34535%3C87232... - far left, closest to the camera blonde haired girls hair would look nice

http://www.tara-and-eric.com/images/Glam... - with or without the flower?

4) what do u mean she wants it different? is she growing it?

5) http://www.edressme.com/52811g.html leave her hair out, it looks fine.

hope it helps?

Hairstyles for a bride and her bridesmaids?

I'm sorry I don't have specific pics, but here's some ideas.

Half up would be good for the mid back length hair, you can curl it and it looks really dressy. Also, low side ponytails that go over one shoulder and are curled are popular and flattering to most faces. You can also do low chignons or buns that are loose with curls.

For you and the chin length hair BM, you can do loose curly updos, you don't need long hair for that! And it will be amazing.

For the short haired BM, The most she can really do is curl it rather than spike it, maybe pin the front back or put some flowers in to dress it up. http://www.haircomesthebride.com/images/...

For the MoH 1, try something like this: http://www.haircomesthebride.com/images/...

You can rat the top to add volume, then braid it and wrap it into a bun, add a hair decoration clip or flower and it will look amazing!

PS, If it's stressing you out, tell them they need to find some ideas on their own. They're trying to be helpful but "letting" you pick, and probably don't realize they're not helping but adding more for you to do!
