It depends on how curly your hair is! if you have SUPER curly hair, you won't be able to cut it medium short - it'll have to stay at least to your jaw. Just make sure that when you go to your hairstylist, they see how curly your hair is so that when they cut it, they don't cut it so that it curls up to your scalp (I had that happen - ohh it was terrible! I can't have 'bangs' the way people with straight hair do. Oh, yeah, and that brings me to 'feathering' your hair... unless your hair just just wavy... don't do it! I tried that once.. I just have bunches of curls along the side of my face!!! I'm not kidding you - they were bunches of curls that seemed separate from the rest of my hair!! (luckily I was young at the time). There definitely wasn't any feathering happening! lol!
