I had long hair for the longest time. I started getting it cut in 6th or 7th grade. Each time I got it cut shorter and shorter. Now its a little longer than shoulder length, and I am trying to grow it back out (wanna see if I want long hair again). I think I might grow it out a few more months and then get it trimmed again to get rid of split ends. Anyway, I am going into 9th grade.

As for your hair, you should ask for it long layered. Get it layered around your face. Also, when you go, make sure you don't go to the cheapest place. I'm not telling you to spend a fortune (15 dollars is good), but make sure that they wash your hair. That way they can style it afterwards and it'll look great (you can never get it like they do at home). You will also get a chance to talk to them about your hair care routine and get some tips from them.

Do NOT doing everything that everyone else is doing. Stand out from the crowd, but don't look bad while doing it!

Straight around the front. Go down to cover ears once far back, short angle. Straight in the back.

Umm go to your hairdresser and ask for recommendation; or purchase a few hairstyle books or magazines they usually cater for all needs!

look through magazines and ask a stylist....i just finished 7th grade and everyone was cutting there hair shorter (like shoulder to neck length) and layers are cute

dont cut it! look in magazines, or go to a hairdresser that is good at catering to people your age group. A cute braided mohawk (not too crazy.) would look really cute. Make sure you still have a youthful look! Also look at other kid celebrities hairstyles to see if you like anything. good luck!

Go to a good salon and ask them to give you a fun manageable style. I think long is great but every ones hair is different. If I could have my hair long and layered like Lindsy Lohan I would.
