Do you think schools should suspend students over hairstyles?

I just read about how a school suspends boy over Mohawk.

do you think that was right when they didnt they anything that specifically bans that type of hairstyle and they said that it disrupts the other students.

Do you think schools should suspend boys for wearing mohawks, pony talls, long hair, corn rolls, braids etc ?

it yes then should they suspend a girl from wearing a buzz cut because that will also distract others, if a girl with long or medium hair comes in a school one day with a buzz cut, bald head or nearly bald head that would distract people to ?

Do you think schools should suspend students over hairstyles?

No. You are there to learn only.

Do you think schools should suspend students over hairstyles?

for insane hair styles yes they should be suspended.

Do you think schools should suspend students over hairstyles?

suspending someone over a hairstyle is stupid

theres this kid im my school with a green mohawk %26lt;3

Do you think schools should suspend students over hairstyles?

No i think it's ridiculous.

Do you think schools should suspend students over hairstyles?

no way. people have the freedom of expression.

Do you think schools should suspend students over hairstyles?

No

I thinking suspensions over hairstyles is idiotic

Do you think schools should suspend students over hairstyles?

No, there are more important issues to focus on than someone's hairstyle.

Do you think schools should suspend students over hairstyles?

No, hair is just hair. Let kids wear them however they want. I went to school in the 80's and we had mohawks then, I wasn't distracted. We also had mullets and really big hair. Girls even shaved 1/2 or the sides of their heads...big deal. I don't even care what color your hair is. That's what makes people different and interesting!

Do you think schools should suspend students over hairstyles?

No,I think that's a form of discrimination.

Do you think schools should suspend students over hairstyles?

heavens no...clothes maybe but not hair......although i was suspended for dying my hair in junior high...that was in the 60's....also got sent home for wearing a mini skirt...those days you had to kneel on the floor and your skirt had to touch the floor.....when i was in grade school...girls couldn't wear jeans..dresses only....

Do you think schools should suspend students over hairstyles?

That Is One Of The Dumbest Things I Heard This Year

Do you think schools should suspend students over hairstyles?

No,it's idiotic. I went to a middle school where a friend of mine got expelled for red highlights in her hair, because she refused to dye them a "normal" color..

Do you think schools should suspend students over hairstyles?

This is a very well question. Well my personal opinion... is that maybe they dont want that kind of style going around their school. So maybe they suspended him. But I think they really shouldnt have had suspended him... its a hairstyle... its not like their bullying a kid... and I dont think its fair to get suspended for that!

Do you think schools should suspend students over hairstyles?

no

Do you think schools should suspend students over hairstyles?

Thats just wrong!

They should allow kids to freely express they're individuality.

Do you think schools should suspend students over hairstyles?

I think children of school age should have the right to wear their hair in any fashion they desire. Students go to school for an education, not to have their sense of style and creativity conformed to what school officials considered the "norm". As a high school student I experimented with many styles and hair colors, and I highly doubt any of my other classmates' education suffered as a result. I believe rules in clothing choices should be made, because showing too much skin or having offensive slogans or symbols printed on clothing can be a distraction and possibly lead to violence in extreme cases. But hair is harmless. If the child's parents (who really should be in charge of rules regarding their own children's appearance, within reason) approve of the hairstyle, then I don't see why schools feel the need to argue. Once these children grow up and have to enter the working world, they may not be able to express such individuality in hair, and that would be their own decision at that point as to whether or not they want hired by that employer. But kids don't have the choice whether they go to school, and I think they should have fun with experimenting with their individuality as much as they can while they still have the opportunity.

Do you think schools should suspend students over hairstyles?

Yeah, some hairstyles are ridiculous and shouldn't be worn.
